The name of the company “SIA” is none other than the initials of its founder Sonja Ingegerd Andersson.
The story begins in her kitchen in Sweden: she makes flowers by hand that she cut outs of tissue paper.
We are in 1963, at the heart of the Flower Power movement. The women’s magazine “Femina” publishes her creations and they are an immediate success.
Orders flow into the small house of Lust garden which is transformed into a workshop where the whole village cuts out, folds and ships by post flowers that open in multicoloured corollas.
SIA is a global benchmark for decorative flowers, but it has successfully developed in the decoration universe with, naturally, vases, but also candles, candlelights, furniture, tableware, lights, frames, decoration accessories and a very wide range of gift ideas.
